Meri Via Art

This books contains a collection of sketches and drawings made by me in the last 4 years. They are a selection of my favorite concepts and studies and it's the first volume of a planned series of sketchbooks.
I love art books, graphic novels and all kind of books that have art in them. To me it's so different than to look at it in a screen. And this is why I work mostly traditional, art is also about the textures, the smells, the movements of flipping the pages, looking at the palette, trying to get the color, grabbing tools and feeling how the different tools interact with the surface...
In the same way, going through art books is so exciting to me: turning every page, going back, feeling the weight of the book, the feeling of the pages on my fingers, smelling the paper and inks, being absorbed by it without other distractions, without the rush I associate with screens... This i why I am so excited about having released my first book. The experience I have with books is so mindful and awakening. I just hope it will make you feel something similar.
With the purchase of a book, you can chose a free Din A5 mate 300 gr print, with a sketch selected from this book. Make sure to select the variant with the print you like the most.
The book is Din A4 sized, with 124 pages filled with sketches and drawings. All books will go out signed, as well as the prints.
